October 19, 2010 – UFO New York, China, Texas And Now Sanford, Florida: After Chelsea, New York City, its now Sanford, Florida, where the UFOs were reportedly sighted by some families. The testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database claimed that a family sighted four disc-shaped UFOs, each 100 feet in diameter, flying under 3,000 feet between 7:45 and 8 p.m. on October 17, 2010. The witnesses described the flying objects as “amber glowing” with “no recognizable FAA approved flashing lights.”
“I watched them traverse, judging from their positions over the ground. From west to east parallel to me I would say they traveled 6 miles in 2 min. Which would mean they were doing 180 miles an hour. Impossible for a balloon. With almost no breeze or wind. The whole thing lasted till we could no longer see them about 4-5 min,” stated a witness.
Examiner reported that the witness took several images and it is likely that those images will be submitted to the MUFON. The witness added in the report that one camera at the scene started giving problems while shooting.
Sanford is situated beside Lake Monroe and the St. Johns River. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee-Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area. “I was inside watching tv when my step-dad yelled to come quick. I ran outside on the back patio. He said to look ufo’s. I thought he was joking at first. I am 33 by the way. I looked up and saw an amber glowing disk flying fairly low. It had no recognizable FAA approved flashing lights. The entire craft appeared to be glowing. I just caught a glimpse of the first one flying ahead of three others that were tightly close together,” the witness said in the report.
