Clovis, CA, family 'traumatized' after watching low flying UFO

July 6, 2010 - A low flying UFO over Clovis, California, July 2, 2010, was reported by KMPH Fox News 26, Fresno, according to the video news report.

Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) State Section Director and Field Investigator Jeffrey Gonzalez interviewed the witnesses and comments on the case.

Just before 10 a.m. near the intersection of Shaw and Ashlan and between Academy and McCall, the UFO moved over Clovis.

Witnesses said the object was not making any noise and had no visible engines on it. The object came from the south and headed north.

Gonzalez is founder of the Sanger Paranormal Society.

The news report said the family who witnessed the object is traumatized and would not speak on camera. The witnesses thought that the object might have been an airliner about to crash into their house.

The following day, Gonzalez says an unmarked white van pulled up in front of the witnesses' house and seemed to watch - while videotape recorded the event. A short while later, a second unmarked white van approached the house and was also captured on tape.

KMPH News says they knocked on doors in the area in search of more witnesses, but could not find one. The Clovis Police Department told KMPH that no reports on the object were made. Gonzalez says he believes the witness testimony.

The following report was made to MUFON on July 3, 2010:

CA, July 2, 2010 - 2 bright lights huge object no sound thought we were going to die. MUFON Case # 24103.

Im not sure how long it lasted because we thought we were going to die but you will understand in this description. It felts like minutes but I know it was seconds because we really thought we were going to die! Here is the story:

I am reporting this in sadness because of this event my dog died! My daughter went to get the dogs from outside to bring them in (she's 15) and she ran screaming "get out a plane is going to hit us" "run" and she was hysterical. Me my husband and my son and I went running downstairs and my husband went to the backdoor (running) to investigate because my daughter is very meek and quiet and never screams.

The next thing I know my husband is yelling "run" "its gonna hit us" and he started praying to God that we lived and if not take us to Heaven and let it be quick. We ran straight out the door as fast as our legs would go. Myself and my son never heard or saw anything we were just running for dear life.

My husband told us to stop behind the trees because he thought at any moment it would hit and we wouldnt get much father ( didnt atually even think we would make it out the front door) and we live in the country so its all mostly open space in front of us. When nothing happened after a few seconds he told us to keep running as I horrifyingly saw him turn back toward the house. We kept going hurrying down the road and as we went we were trying to call our dogs that had escaped with us.

My husband returned in his truck to state the object simply was gone/vanished he had no idea where it went but it never hit our house or flew over us and not a single sound was heard. So we continued the search for our dogs however one was struck by a car and killed. Later when I spoke with my husband and daughter I was informed it had 2 bright lights and was up in the sky they could see the back neighbors house below it and it made no sound and teetered a little back and forth but the lights were always horizontal to eachother.

This object made no sound what so ever and my husband said he saw the silhouette and it was as big as our back pasture across and very dark. I am very saddened but wanted to report this because weird things have occurred before here that we never mentioned to people. Like for one instance our laser pointer lights (we would play with our dogs with) when we would point them in the field they would disappear at some points but would be seen all the way to the orchards at other points and we always laughed that it was like something invisible was sucking up the light at that spot. Im now truely scared and wanted this reported in the case something happens to us.

Now it is time for me to grieve. I am afraid to sleep. I truly believe it must have landed in our pasture but everything appears normal. Something very wrong happened here tonight...please help!! Has anyone else ever experienced this?

Witness report: Watched a light blink out and return then move quickly past another flashing light PA, US
We saw an odd light in the sky driving home. It seemed too bright for a star and caught our attention. We both thought we saw it move erratically and wanted to stop and watch it. We pulled into a parking lot so we could better see if it was moving, or a star or maybe plane. We originally both saw the light move but upon watching it, it stayed still like a star. We watched it for a few minutes then it blinked out until we saw nothing. We were about to leave when the light blinked back in as a steady bright yellowish color slightly to the left and moving rapidly. We saw a second light it was moving towards and we assumed one was a plane. When the lights got close, the solid light starting strobing and the strobing light become solid as if they switched light patterns. We unfortunately did not record the light blink out but we did record them moving and changing lighting patterns. We watched both fly off normally as if they were only planes but we both saw it move off a straight line unlike any plane we have seen before. We would really like our video analyzed because when we were watching it, it looked as if one light stopped and waited for the other before following the same flight path.

Me and my wife spent the Fourth of July weekend visiting Put-in-Bay, Ohio. On Saturday, July 3rd, 2010, we were riding our bikes toward the Perry's Victory Monument. It was approximately 10:30 am, Eastern time, and the Monument was directly to our East. The morning sun was extremely bright, and the skies were perfectly clear. The sun was directly behind the top of the structure when we rode by, so I stopped to take a picture. It was very peaceful and quiet at this time. The top of the tower was glowing from the sun behind it. I took a picture with my digital camera, although it was very hard to see what I was shooting because of the intense sunlight. When I got home, I transferred the pictures from our trip to my computer in order to print them. When I printed the picture of the Monument, I noticed something in the air behind it, about half-way up on the right side. I didn't think much of it until I looked very close. Then I looked at it on the computer, and I zoomed in as far as I could. I saw a very distinct, metallic, steep-angled, saucer-shaped flying object. It was very startling. I remember having to squint whenever I looked in the direction of the Monument, and my attention was focused on the glowing top, so I did not notice the object when I took the picture, only when I printed it out. And, like I said above, it was a very quiet and peaceful time of the morning, and me and my wife made a note of how quiet it was at that time (no airplane or helicopter noises).

Three new Crop Circles in England

Castle Hill, nr Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Reported 5th July 2010.

There is a new huge formation in the fields below Roulston Scar in an area known as Happy Valley, Sutton Bank near Thirsk North Yorkshire. According to a friend of mine the formation and landscape view was shown yesterday on the BBCs Look North regional weather forecast as the photo of the day sent in by a viewer. I didn't see it myself as I don't live in the area and its not available yet on I player.

My friend has emailed me a photo he took but its not very good, the design looks like an interlocking Yin and Yang pattern which must be several hundred feet long! I would say the crop is probably wheat.

The area looks to be very interesting as Happy valley was an ancient Druid settlement and there is an iron age hill fort at the top of Roulston Scar with Tumulus and Earthworths dotted all around the area. I have sent links relating to the area regarding history and folklore and an OS map.

Latest UFO sightings - Unknown object or light was recorded in the sky over Georgia, USA on Sunday, 4th July 2010 around 10:15 pm.

Witness report: We were close to being back home from watching fireworks at the Mall of Ga. about 10:15 on July 4, 2010. Driving down Hwy. 124, approaching the Publix, my husband (driving) asked what something was off to the right, pointing just past Hwy. 332 above some warehouses. It seemed stationary so I said it looked like one of the Bigger balloons that I had seen attached to ropes when driving down the freeway as sort of an advertisement or eye-catcher. They are larger balloons tied to a really long rope but attached to a building.

Then it started moving toward us. We stopped at the 4 way stop and hesitated there watching it start to move north parallel with Hwy. 332. We were going to turn left onto 332 and did but pulled into the CVS parking lot and drove behind the building still watching the movement. It seemed to start off slowly because we had time to stop at the stop sign, turn and turn into the CVS and park. The 3 of us bailed out, including my 12 year old son, still watching as it had not gotten to us but was still moving toward that direction. My son and I got our cell phones out and video taped it, moving toward us, over us at a stead pace and level and finally started to disappear over the treetops. About the time I closed my phone, my husband says, here comes another.

I turned immediately and started to video tape the second as I told my son of the second one, he finished taping the first and turned to the second. When I turned to the second one, it was just about the same place that we had first seen the original one. The second one also moved at a steady and level rate following in what we believed to be the same exact path as the first. If I had to guess, I would say maybe 30-40 MPH. As the second one moved over us, I steadily held my phone up and moved it at a slow rate above me. I could not see well as I watched the phone so I would glance away from my phone (still recording) and look at the object directly. (Unsteady hand or glancing up is what caused the appearance to jump.)

The second object was the same size as the first. Possibly the size of a hippty-hop bouncy toy or the size of an extra large kick ball. These did not have anything extending from the side like a meteor or from the bottom like with a hot air balloon. There was no extension like a basket or of the balloon or anything like that. Only round.

To me it still seemed like this round red balloon but it had fire under it (or on the bottom) OR it was just a round flame. A small fireball traveling across the sky. In discussing later, my son and husband thought it only looked like a fireball though. They did not get the impression of the balloon with the fire at the base like I did. The fire did not blow then stop blowing the like a hot air balloon would have fire blowing up from the bottom. The flame was very steady AND, neither object made a noise. They were silent, absolutely NO sound what so ever.

They seemed to travel fairly close to the ground, very level, not up and down or back and forth. Very steady. They seemed to be lower than the small air planes that land at our small town airport. Maybe 200-300 Ft above us.

As the second one was going further away, the fire seemed to die out some, then the flame came back. When first dying out I thought maybe we could see the flame much better from the front and not so well from the back because we were able to see it coming from a good distance away but not leaving us. But when the flame/brightness came back that once, it made me think that it was just disappearing. I don't know, it was just gone! suddenly.

My son has remote control air planes, little ones that you can buy at walmart. I know how these sound, this was NO remote control item. I have seen the larger ones flown and you can hear them flying from 1/2 mile away, at least. It was NO weather balloon or fireworks. It was controlled: height from the ground, MPH, path, everything. We were all 3 in Awe and absolutely amazed. We kept asking, what could it be? could anyone figure it out yet? It was not a flash, it took maybe 10-13 minutes while we stopped at the stop sign, drove a few feet, then stopped in the parking lot and stood out of the car watching both objects. I went to bed that night almost in tears knowing what we had seen. I am 45 and have never in my life had something so amazing that I could not come up SOME type of explanation. I wonder if there were others that had see them. There had to be! There was about 3 cars in the drive-thru next to where we stood and watched. These people had to have looked up to see what we were looking at and video taping with our phones. I wondered how do you call your police dept and make a report of something. when I mentioned that to my son, he was concerned that they would take him away because we were crazy but he knows what we saw was real. WHAT, we don't know but it was REAL. Someone would have to do a LOT to prove to me that was not a UFO. It would have to be proven under the same conditions, air, moon light, time of night, etc. I would love for someone TO prove it was something different!!

First was video recorded at 22:32 (00:00s > 00:36s) and second at 22:34 (00:36s > 01:33s). The second one was started from my right, then straight above me then past me to my left. The first one I could not tell you exactly because we bailed out of the car and started taping so quickly. For the second one, I know more of where I was standing and my actions since I had time to video tape the first one and realize what I might be looking at.

'UFOs' spotted in Reading

July 5, 2010 - Mobile phone footage has captured the moment that several UFO's were spotted flying above Reading, Berkshire.

The video was captured by Lizzie Zuowen Tang and Jo Mingjiao Xue who claim to have seen 21 flying objects between 4.45 and 5.53 in the morning.

Ms Tang said: "Their shapes were like rods which pointed in the direction they were flying, but they were rotating at the same time when flying forward.

"They flew very slowly without the noise which planes generate when flying, so at first we thought they were meteors, but then we immediately realised that they were definitely not meteors because their speed was much slower.

Witness report: Fast Flyover Toronto

There was a power outage (no electricity) and I decided to go for a walk and take a few pictures. It was about 7pm and the sun was going down, and the available light was not much for the ground but the sky was still quite bright.

I decided to take a few pictures but to make them work I decided to make multiple exposures and produce HDR image later.

The camera can be set for bracketed exposure, and when set for high-speed multiple captures, when the button is pressed the shutter fires automatically 3 times in about a second, capturing 3 separate images at different exposures.

When I was developing the images I noticed something strange on the least exposed frame, and soon after that I found it on the mid-exposed frame (on the brightest frame all of the sky was overexposed and it would have not been possible to show there).

The images are taken in the sequence Mid-exposure, Low, High.

The object looks spherical or diamond to me, on the mid-exposure it is on the left side of the sun and shows reflection from it, on the right side is shows the illumination from the sun, but the reflection is not that noticeable.

Pictures were taken at 6:54 pm - Toronto.

First picture is B/W as I had to lower the exposure manually for the object to be seen (and the colours were very off after I had to do that).

Unknown light hovering in the sky near Winchester in Hants, UK

Latest UFO sightings - Unknown light was recorded hovering in the night sky near Winchester in Hants, UK on Saturday, 3rd July 2010 at 10:05 pm.

Witness report: This Genuine footage was shot at 10:05 tonight, 03/07/10, by one of a dedicated team of ufologists, looking out from Wooton St Lawrence, above the B3400 road, towards distant Winchester, Hants, (some miles away), whilst out on a skywatch.

The object had no flashing lights on and just suddenly appeared in the sky, before hovering a while then landing.

There are no airfields where this was seen, and the object was also observed through high powered binoculars...it certainly wasn't a Chinese lantern, (the object was of considerable size), or a plane, (no wings), rather, it had an energy field surround it's bulk, a ball of swirling lights.

This wasn't the first aerial encounters we had this night...I had another excellent sighting, but couldn't get it on film...and 2 other possibles...again, which I couldn't film.

It's funny, because all evening I had been asking out loud for something big to happen, and in an unusually quite sky....almost devoid of planes this evening, a major sighting/photo-op happens like this!

I would say that was not a coincidence, would you, the reader?

What Are Aerial “Metallic Doughnuts” South of London, England?

On Thursday, June 24, 2010, these “metallic doughnuts” were photographed flying south to north at 9:08 PM local time in Redhill, Surrey, England, south of London.

Witness report: Observed 2 Shimmering objects from Merstham, (that's about 2 & 1/2 miles north of Redhill), through 10x binocular.
Against the background of grey cloud, I could see that cloud was not above the objects...and they appeared brown in colour, doughnut-shaped, brighter
on face, reflected off sun although sun was hidden from my view; and I took this picture.
I observed them for no longer than 1 minute and I have no idea of their size, speed, or altitude, but estimate they were higher than the local, light aircraft fly at.
Have no record of zoom setting on camera, as I wanted to get them both in frame, but they appeared with naked eye, about the same size as photo.
They had disappeared before I could take zoomed-in pictures of them separately.
