Latest UFO sightings - This video of bright objects in V-formation were recorded via webcam over Los Angeles, California. This was taken on Monday, 6th December 2010 at 7:50 pm.

I was watching the live cam that was looking in opposite direction from LAX airport and I noticed these hovering glowing orbs over a freeway in LA. The first time I saw the cam it looked like a row of glowing orbs on a long wing, much like the famous Phoenix Lights UFO back in Arizona in 1996 which was seen by thousands of people.

After seeing this unusual craft, I scwbooks got onto Twitter and posted the info so others could confirm my sighting live. Several others did saying that they saw the UFOs on the live cam. I also posted it on Facebook while it was happening. I did this because confirmation of a sighting is most important. I also immediacy emailed UFO-Blogger.com for confirmation.

This is happing right over a LA freeway!! Now I don't know if drivers could see this because this is a night cam, which can see beyond the spectrum of the human eye, but I sure hope someone else out there is recording it besides me!

I reported on a similar UFO sighting last month on the same cam and this is the exact same craft as before, but this time it is much closer that last time. Whatever it is, it is amazing.

Please check out this cam from time to time, since this is the second sighting of this UFO, but just in a slightly different and closer location this time.

UFO video: Unknown lights hovering in the night sky over Oakland, California 1-Dec-2010

Latest UFO sightings - This video of unknown lights forming triangle formation were seen and recorded in Oakland, California on Wednesday, 1st December 2010 around 10 pm.

Witness report: December 1 2010, I was driving home in Oakland California around 10pm and noticed this very prominent UFO formation in the sky. I pulled off the freeway and drove up to the closest hill to get a better look. I had to cut the video down to fit it on Youtube but the original footage is over 15 minutes long. To me it seems like the light orb phenomena in a triangle formation with smaller orbs appearing around the main formation. The zoomed in shots of the orbs show them morphing in shape and materializing in and out. The formation lasted about 15 minutes then each one slowly faded out. It's interesting to notice as they start to fade out an additional light next to the orb starts to blink as if they are mimicking aircraft in the sky.

WikiLeaks to publish files on aliens, UFOs

December 3, 2010 - WikiLeaks will publish more secret US diplomatic files relating to aliens and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), said the founder of the whistleblower website Julian Assange and claimed his life was at risk after the recent expose.

Assange revealed he would publish classified US files about aliens and UFOs.

According to the Daily Mail, none had so far satisfied the twin publishing criteria for WikiLeaks: that the documents are original and not self-authored.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange said on Friday that there were some references to UFOs in "yet-to-be-published" confidential files obtained from the U.S. government.

In an online chat hosted by the U.K.'s Guardian newspaper, he also said that no one has been harmed by his organization's release of troves of secret documents.

"WikiLeaks has a four-year publishing history. During that time there has been no credible allegation, even by organizations like the Pentagon, that even a single person has come to harm as a result of our activities," Assange said in response to a reader's question. "This is despite much-attempted manipulation and spin trying to lead people to a counter-factual conclusion. We do not expect any change in this regard."

'Weird life': Clue to alien biology after scientists discover mysterious bacteria that can live on arsenic

Bacteria stir debate about 'shadow biosphere'

December 3, 2010 - All life on Earth - from microbes to elephants and us - requires the element phosphorus as one of its six components.

But now researchers have discovered a bacterium that appears to have replaced that life-enabling phosphorus with its toxic cousin arsenic, raising new and provocative questions about the origins and nature of life.

News of the discovery caused a scientific commotion this week, including calls to NASA from the White House asking whether a second line of earthly life has been found.

A NASA press conference Thursday and an accompanying article in the journal Science said the answer is no. But the discovery opens the door to that possibility and to the related existence of a theorized "shadow biosphere" on Earth - life evolved from a different common ancestor from all we've known so far.

"Our findings are a reminder that life-as-we-know-it could be much more flexible than we generally assume or can imagine," said Felisa Wolfe-Simon, 33, the biochemist who led the effort.

Prompted by debate about the possible existence of a shadow biosphere, Wolfe-Simon set out specifically to see whether microbes that lived in California's briny, arsenic-filled Mono Lake naturally used arsenic instead of phosphorus for basic cellular functions, or were able to replace the phosphorus with arsenic.

She took mud from the lake into the lab and began growing bacteria in Petri dishes. She fed them sugars and vitamins but replaced phosphate salt with arsenic until the surviving bacteria could grow without needing the phosphates at all.

Her research found that some of the bacteria had arsenic embedded into their DNA, RNA and other basic underpinnings.

"If something here on Earth can do something so unexpected - that breaks the unity of biochemistry - what else can life do that we haven't seen yet?" said Wolfe-Simon, a NASA Astrobiology Research Fellow and member of the National Astrobiology Institute team at Arizona State University.

NASA- Astrobiology News Highlights - Life Built From Arsenic Dec 2nd

Carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus and sulfur are the six basic building blocks of all known forms of life on Earth. Phosphorus is part of the chemical backbone of DNA and RNA, the structures that carry genetic instructions for life, and is considered an essential element for all living cells.

NASA Finds New Life Form on Earth

"NASA's anticipated press conference today did announce the existence of new life. No, it's not E.T.; but it is a revolutionary finding. Up until now, scientists would say that six elements were absolutely necessary for life to exist: carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus and sulfur. Dr. Felisa Wolfe-Simon, a NASA astrobiology fellow at the United States Geological Survey has broadened that list, as evidenced by her research revealed today.

Here's how... The key element of phosphorus is what links the backbone of DNA together. Arsenic sits just beneath phosphorus on the periodic table of elements, and it is toxic to life.

However, Dr. Wolfe-Simon found an organism that actually learned to cope with arsenic. Taking mud bacteria samples from the bottom of Mono Lake in California, she gradually fed the life form arsenic. To her surprise, the experiment did not kill the organism. Instead, she suggests, it incorporated the element into it's phosphorus lifestyle. Columbia University Astrobiologist Caleb Scharf compares this adaptation to ""if you or I morphed into fully functioning cyborgs after being thrown into a room of electronic scrap with nothing to eat"".

The findings have a relationship with NASA's search for life in space because it expands the scope of what possible life conditions to look for in other worlds. "

Investigative journalist and UFO researcher Paola Harris shared details about a 1945 UFO crash in San Antonio, New Mexico including microscopic analysis of actual materials taken from the UFO. Also, the now grown children, Jose Padilla and Reme Baca, who witnessed the crash, shared their testimony. Harris described the incident when the boys aged 7 and 9 were out on family property during a major thunderstorm and saw an object crash into the ground, leaving a half-mile trench. The two boys went near the craft and saw a piece had broken off.

Padilla described the crash as sounding like a sonic boom, and thought it could have been an atomic bomb test. The crashed object, he said, was around 35 ft. in diameter, and 15 ft. high. Baca said they witnessed thin-bodied creatures inside the craft, resembling "praying mantises," while Padilla characterized them as three little men who were rushing back and forth like they were injured. The boys returned to the crash site two days later with adults, and the creatures were gone, but the craft was still there.

Later, the military arrived and requested to cut a gate on the Padilla's property in order to remove a "weather balloon." It was during this time that the boys climbed into the craft and pulled an aluminum bracket off, which many years later they had analyzed by an electron microscope which showed unusual properties-- tiny structures that look like fossils (see photos below). Witness report: Was on my way up to Carlisle on the M6 just nr Charnock Richard services at around 06:40 when i noticed two very bright golden flashing lights to my right just over Winter Hill. I carried on driving for about half a mile glancing across to look when i could & they were still there so i decided to pull over just before the services & capture what i could. Apologies for the shake but the trucks rumbling past on the inside lane were causing constant vibrations so it was a bit tricky. Managed to stay for a couple of minutes before i had to move off but they were getting dimmer the longer i recorded anyway...looked ace though, shimmered all different colours & to begin with were extremely bright.

Latest UFO sightings - Unknown lights were seen and photographed flying across the sky in Colorado in USA. This was taken on 21st November 2010.

Witness report: It was still light out, but the sun had just begun to set and I was driving home.

I saw a bright light in the sky above the trees in my neighborhood. I pulled over and started taking close up pictures thinking it was Mars.

When I zoomed out I saw three bright lights in formation and hovering. Then another white light rose from the horizon with two smaller lights.

All were orb shaped and bright. They stayed in the same place for several minutes and then slowly left one at a time following each other.

As they changed direction, I could see the front had two bright, white lights and the back two red lights.

In continuous shot mode I finally got a close up of the last craft as it was moving away. I then thought "Got ya".

Don't know what it is, but I got a picture of it and two short videos of them hovering. It looks like a small Starship Enterprise.

Latest UFO sightings - This strange daytime object was photographed in the sky over Plymouth in New Hampshire (NH), USA on 25th November 2010.

Witness report: Day after Thanksgiving (2010) my family and I went up to Plymouth,NH to a tree farm for the afternoon in search of a tree.

Later that day we got home to find something odd on one of our pictures. I have seen many ufo's and I have several

photos in the past but this one is very different from anything I am used to seeing.

I can see what almost appears to be happening. It's like the middle came out and up it went.

You can see there are 2 other round objects in the sky above it. My husband took this picture of me and said he never saw a thing.

This usually happens and I have so many that I am starting to wonder if this is my family being followed?

I have quite a story and would love for someone to give me an idea of what's going on.

Weird things have been happening to me since I was 8 and now it's not only me but one of my sons

is having the same experiences. But no other member in my family is. Just the 2 of us.

I also may have captured a reptilian on camera if anyone is interested in seeing this photo. Looks more like a dinosaur to me.

NASA's News Conference on Astrobiology Discovery - Today!

NASA Sets News Conference on Astrobiology Discovery; Science Journal Has Embargoed Details Until 2 p.m. EST On Dec. 2

WASHINGTON -- NASA will hold a news conference at 2 p.m. EST on Thursday, Dec. 2, to discuss an astrobiology finding that will impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life. Astrobiology is the study of the origin, evolution, distribution and future of life in the universe.

The news conference will be held at the NASA Headquarters auditorium at 300 E St. SW, in Washington. It will be broadcast live on NASA Television and streamed on the agency's website at http://www.nasa.gov.

New documentary: My mum talks to aliens

Mary Rodwell is Australia's leading authority on extraterrestrial phenomena, her son Chris Rodwell is a vet, a man of science and self-confessed alien skeptic -- their relationship has reached a critical point and something has to give.

Mary's beliefs led to the breakdown of her marriage and left a teenage Chris with some emotional scars, so the topic comes with baggage. Packing nothing but an open mind, Chris has agreed to enter Mary's world via a road trip traversing Australia in order for her to attempt to convince him that the truth really is "out there" and that aliens exist, or she must never discuss the subject with him again.

Mary plans to leave no stone unturned in her efforts to convince Chris. They will meet a host of colorful characters from alien contactees to skeptical scientists. They will take part in a heated debate with university professors, put key witnesses under pressure with polygraph tests and scour the country for concrete evidence of extraterrestrial life.

Along the way they will argue until they are blue in the face about who is right, and for Mary, this really is her last chance to prove to Chris that she hasn't gone loopy and that there really are other beings in the sky above. This is the search for the truth to save a relationship.

IMPORTANT! NASA to Reveal 'Astrobiology Discovery' Thursday

NASA's got some embargoed information and it's not sharing with the group until Thursday afternoon.

November 30, 2010 - Aliens are a terrifying yet exciting prospect. We've all seen Smallville. We can't be the only ones out there. There has to be other planets, other people, other life forms, right? Sure, we're not expecting them all to look like Clark Kent or the charming Kara, but we'd like to know for sure that they're out there.

Well, it probably won't be as exciting as uncovering an advanced civilization of beings not too different from us, but NASA says it's got an 'astrobiology discovery' to share with us all on Thursday afternoon. To say we are excited would be a huge understatement. However, NASA does say that this discovery will 'impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life.' Close encounters are getting closer, guys!
