Way back thousands of years ago, the notion that aliens have visited Earth was never filled with doubts until the event that has caught world’s attention in 1947 when an unknown saucer-like machine left crashed on the fields in Roswell, Mexico. There were claims that the ufo was discovered with dead bodies of aliens but the government purposely hid crucial information on what was actually seen in the crash site.
It has been a belief from that point that the American government has been hiding information from the public. This has resulted in the advent of books written by many conspiracy theorists on the Roswell crash, ufos, the tightly-controlled Area 51 in Nevada and other relative topics.
Other theorists believe that UFO secrecy in the government is so tight that even former President John F. Kennedy got assassinated because they suggest he attempted to reveal alien presence to the public.
In February 1968, Great Britain and Australia decided to disarm their countries in response to the killing of 16 children and a teacher by a crazy man in 1966. What spurred interest in this decision was the speculation that both countries did not decide it in their will but because they were just two of the countries that are forced to do that after realizing that there are other creatures beyond the planet or underground presenting more serious threat against them.
To add to this ever circling theory was what is stipulated in the Bible that the world will be unified under the leadership of one regime or one being. It does not imply that Earth humans will resemble the government or the man. Perhaps aliens or other beings living beyond the planet might be the ones.

Aliens can easily take over our planet and subdue our societies, but personal gun ownership would make their walking about among us dangerous, should someone decide to take one or two of them out. It's better for them if we are all disarmed.
