UFO sightings have long been frequent in Laguna Niguel/Dana Point for unknown reason. The latest sighting was filed on July 5 in the MUFON website. According to the report, a man and his girlfriend were on their Dana Point deck sitting and chatting around midnight when they spotted a gold bright light in southwest direction from their point of view.The reporting witness claimed that they are both connected with aeronautical business and so, they knew at that very moment that they were not seeing a commercial aircraft, according to the report. The report continues with the description of the witness on the light or object. It says that the light was extremely bright and after few seconds, another light appeared to the right of it.
The two lights seemed to move closer to the witnesses but it stopped and hovered, the report says. The report mentions that the witnesses observed the two lights turned into a row of several angled lights, about 4-6. It says that the lights or objects then flew up high blinking until they simply went dark. The report included cellphone photos of the strange event taken by the witnesses.
I have a view over Dana Point from San Clemente and saw the same light, 12/16/19 at 10 PM. I’ve seen it before in the same area but just assumed it was was light on a far away mountain top. Only later to realize in the day that it was much higher up. And another time I saw it and was surprised it was the only “star” showing through the clouds. So you justify and ignore. Only this time there was movement the light was so far but actually showed a reflection in my yard that pulled me outside into the cold at 10 PM at night. All I can say was, WTF is that?? It was mega bright. I assumed it was a plane coming towards me from the distance or a search light. It stayed bright for about two minutes just enough time to mesmerize me, then dimmed out. I decided to look it up this morning only to find others are noticing too.
