Gigantic Hole in Siberia Creates Rumor On Crashed UFO + Update!

siberia hole

A big opening has been discovered in northern Siberia, a place already labelled by locals as “the end of the world.” Nobody can explain where it originated and how deep. It specifically appeared in Yamal peninsula and it is around 80 meters wide. The sinkhole could be the widest ever spotted and could also be one of the deepest in the world ever recorded.

The phenomenon brings different speculations, including crashed UFO, sinkhole, global warming or meteorite hitting earth.

The crater is large enough for Mi-8 helicopters to fit into it. Yamal authorities already organized their expedition that will include one expert from Cryosphere Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and two from the Center for the Study of the Artic.

They plan to examine the water, air and soil from the area along with a specialist from the Emergencies Ministry.

A meteorite is ruled out as the cause of a large hole but experts admit that it is very early to conclude about it.

Pilots working for a gas company near the gigantic hole captured a video that shows a deep tunnel structure wherein the hole is surrounded by soil.

Initially, the footage was believed to be fake but the phenomenon was proven to be real. It is believed that the hole formed about two years ago.

Update:

This crater is around 75m deep (cca 300ft) and has an ice lake at the bottom.

Russian scientist Andrey Plekhanov said that satellite mapping immagery is showing this was formed in the last year or two and is believed to have been caused by rising temperatues in the area.

  1. The sides appear smooth, the debris appears to have come OUT of the hole and are not falling in, it almost makes it appear that something came OUT of the hole and not fallen into it. How long has it been there? You can see water erosion on the side and trails on the inside walls like it’s been there a long while.

  2. You fellas take a look at geysers in Yellowstone and compare, this o’l world is becoming more active, showing some birth pangs ?

  3. #gcameron: I agree with you. That is a big chunk of the planet missing, where is it? The sound that it made must of have been heard for miles; and there is gas company nearby and even if it was two years ago someone has to remember a very loud sound.

  4. If this is a proper posting, it looks fairly new considering the the extracted ridge of dirt. It has a fresh scene with the lack of vegetation and the lightness of dirt. Like any ballistic evidence, something came outwards… slowly, letting the dirt accumulate towards the rim. Any faster would have spread evidence about at a greater diameter. At this point, as always with new evidence, this video is way to short than it should be for something as awing as this. I have seen this on CNN, Fox, and NY times websites and affiliates with same video. Anything this important should have had other postings by now… from anywhere.

  5. This doesn’t look like your typical sink-hole. They just collapse in whereas this “hole” has material piled around the rim as if something forced itself upwards and out…

    Who knows….

  6. the musics more scarier than the massive hole massive though to say the least the true answer will be revealed in time i guess by the scientific community .

  7. The rise in underground temperature caused gas to expand, blowing out bits of the surface layer. It also caused subterranean ice to melt hence the nice smooth shaft. Happens more often in natural gas fields.
