Mass UFO Sighting over California, Oregon, and Nevada 12-Sep-2014 UPDATE

mass ufo sighting

In the early morning hours of September 12, 2014, many people in California, Oregon, and Nevada all reported seeing highly unusual lights in the sky.

All the eyewitness accounts are the same. A massive, intensely bright light was seen moving across the sky, with a large comet-like tail behind it.

This was no meteor. The light was visible for 15-20 seconds. This means it was moving far too slowly to be a meteor.

And the fact that it was seen in three separate states indicates that the object must have been very, very high up and very, very large.

17th September Update:

Northern California UFO Baffles Witnesses and Experts

In the early morning of September 12, Friday, a UFO reportedly made an appearance in the skies over northern California.

The strange object was witnessed by at least thirty onlookers in the bay area. The witnesses observed the object streaking across the sky at around 6:00 a.m. Some describe the object as an orange light, while others say it was white. The light was witnessed with smoke or fog billowing out behind it. Sacramento police officer was one of the witnesses.

CBS affiliate in San Francisco, KPIX, interviewed Bing Quock, who work at the California Academy of Sciences’ Morrison Planetarium, about the UFO. Quock explains it seems that many witnessed a large object falling through the sky when looking at the American Meteor Society website. He says that it’s not usual to see something in the sky with large tail following behind it.

The television station also asked Gerald McKeegan of the Chabot Space and Science Center in Oakland. He explains that that it was either a missile test launch or a piece of space junk. However, upon checking with Vandenberg Air Force Base the station discovered through base representatives that there were no launches that morning.

One of the witnesses explains that he noticed the object in the sky with apparent floodlight on and billowing out of it was a white fog or smoke as if something was being sprayed into the sky. He did not hear any sounds from a plane or anything and it was very strange when he tried to take a photo using his iPhone, it did not come out. He also thought of a fogging for mosquitoes.

However, the mosquito fogging in the area is not done by aircraft but by truck as explained by local news website Claycord.com. Moreover, no scheduled fogging on the day of this particular UFO sighting. Further, the reports by other witnesses in other states including Oregon and Nevada rule out this possibility.

    • i’ve come to the conclusion that silly reporters who laugh at ufo phenomenon are either making fun of what they need to report, which makes them look like ding dongs, or they are just so damned scared that laughing is their defense mechanism.

  1. This is not a UFO. This is a classic identifiable sighting of a comet fragment discharging electrically as it comes into contact with earth’s magnetic field. We will be seeing more and more of such footage as the increase in levels of cometary material heading our way accelerates over coming months and years. We are in very dangerous times here on planet earth. First climate and earth changes caused by cosmic events, then the comets, then the plague they bring (e.g ebola), then the fire and ash that follows. And that means toast for most of us. The UFOs are here as part of this cyclical event. Hold on to your hats!

  2. Funny how the man said he tried to take a picture of it and it didn’t come out, I was on the 5freeway up north and I noticed it too and I tried filming it with my phone I mean I did record it and it didn’t come out either

  3. I am witnessing balls of light in the 37920 area of Knoxville tn. fairly regularly! I should have photographs soon. There seems to be some type of communication.
