Mystery Investigator Owns the UFO Sighting Sketch of John Lennon

Lenon UFO Sighting

A rare sketch that John Lennon made to record his alien encounter is in the hands of a leading UFO researcher. Lennon allegedly had the strange encounter in America.

Known for his investigation of the 1974 UFO Berwyn Mountains incident, Russ Kellett said he bought Lennon’s sketch of an encounter with a flying saucer in New York. Mr Kellett revealed that he got the controversial sketch a few months ago. Lennon’s alleged UFO encounter took place in the same year of the North Wales incident.

It has been a rumour that Lennon, whose first wife Cynthia just recently died and once lived in Ruthin, has made some drawings following the sighting.

According to the report, Lennon was standing on his apartment’s balcony with former girlfriend May Pang on August 23, 1974. The two claimed to have spotted a flying saucer floating silently over them.

Many suspected that the lyric of Nobody Told Me that says “There’s a UFO over New York, and I ain’t too surprised” refers to the incident.

Mr Kellett said that he loves to collect UFO materials and a Beatles fan too. When a friend told him that it was becoming available, he grabbed the opportunity to own the sketch. He said he bought it from a private collector.

Mr Kellett said that the sketch shows Lennon pointing into the sky at the UFO. However, the buyer remained tight lip over the amount he paid for the sketch.

  1. “Well this settles it, UFO’s are real. John Lennon said so and drew a picture of one.”
I make that comment in jest, I know for certain UFO’s exist but if I told you how I know I’d have to kill you… (though I’ve never seen one)

    • at least you have an open mind about believing in them without seeing them. i have seen them, so i know they exist too.

    • Actually I can say your first sentence without having to be jesting. I would say that’s a true statement, as John Lennon was not the kind of person to make up stories about UFO’s. If he says he saw one, I believe him, to me he’s a very credible witness.

  2. He also had a close encounter of the fifth kind – does ‘egg’ ring any bells? What makes me curious is the fact that Uri Geller (who still owns the egg) won’t have it analysed.

    • John Lennon was actually clean by 1974, especially when it comes to LSD, which is the only drug that can possibly induce such a hallucination like that, and even LSD wouldn’t cause two people to see the same thing. I hope you were just kidding, as I don’t know of any more credible person than John Lennon, he wasn’t the kind of person to make up a story like this.

  3. I have a question: In the sketch, the words May Took Pictures can be seen next to May Pang, my question is, where are those pictures? Does anyone know if they even exist?

      • Actually I googled it and found out that all the pictures she took that night were overexposed and useless, that’s why we haven’t seen them.

        • that’s incredible that you found info on the web like that! is nothing sacred anymore?! then again it’s Google. someone can put any type of info on google and 95% of the time it’ll be wrong.

          • Actually it’s not that amazing, it is from an interview with May Pang about the incident, that’s all. You’d be amazed at how much information you can gather from just using Google, I love my laptop and don’t know what I’d do without it. Anything I want to do, for instance work on my car but never did that particular job before, I can usually find a video on youtube showing just how to do it, it saves me tons of money, lol

  4. Wait, are you saying that what I found out about the pictures is most likely untrue? I can assure you it’s right from May Pang’s mouth, you should use Google more often to find out things you didn’t know, you can simply ask a question and you’ll get tons of answers. After using it awhile you’ll learn how to ask to get better results. Your statement about the information on Google being 95% wrong shows that you obviously never use it.

  5. The sketch is a fake. Kellett is NOT a leading UFO researcher. He is a thick gullible individual who was blindsided by the opportunity to obtain a piece of Beatles memorabilia and simply didn’t do his homework before pulling out his wallet.
    Stupid Stupid man.

  6. fact, the worlds best photo experts from NASA,Kremlin,Japan, trained in every trick in the book say 2 percent are genuine, that’s at least severalthousand photos of UFO and alien are real!
