An unnamed Texas witness in Hutto, Williamson County has claimed to have seen an orb UFO moving near to the ground and emitting a green light. The UFO seemed to scan the field and search for something, according to the testimony filed as Case 72672 in the witness reporting database of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON).
The sighting took place on November 22, 2015, at around 8:14 in the morning, local time, as the witness was driving into Hutto and spotting a strange orb UFO, according to the MUFON report.
The witness told MUFON he noticed a bizarre green light near the open grass area, so he decided to pull off to the side of the road.
He observed the orb UFO hovered above a grassy area as if it scanned the ground below to look for something. It moved like a dog sniffing the ground in search of something as it flew side to side close to the ground for approximately 30 seconds. Then, the green light turned off suddenly, and the UFO zoomed off.
Most reported UFO sightings involve orb UFOs, making some UFO enthusiasts to suggest that space alien surveillance vehicles are typically orb in shape.

I live south/west Nm. We see these orbs flashing the green light here several times a year since I have moved here (10 years ago). They also seem to be searching for something here also. The strange thing about the light when it moves over you, it seems to have weight. I know that sounds strange but the light actually feels like something covering you when it hits you. I have not seen the lights since last fall (about Aug. of 2015) But I expect them to return again when the weather warms again.
Why UFO Seems to appear frequently Northen American States. Why not in the other parts of the world?
I, too, saw an orb. It was March 7, 2014 at approximately 7:56 pm. I had just gotten home from work. My dog and I went outside and, while I stood on the sidewalk smoking a cigarette and my dog took care of her business, I noticed what looked like the moon 200 to 300 yards in the sky. Trying to keep an eye on my dog in the vacant lot nearby, I looked away from the object for about two or three seconds thinking, “that the object appears too close to be the moon.” When I looked back, I no longer saw what I thought was the moon but an orb that had descended about 10 to 12 feet above the middle of the street starting at the very beginning of my lot. Its appearance was no longer like that of the moon. It was now pitch black inside with what looked like tiny stars inside of it, and bolts of lightning inside of it. It travelled down the middle of the street, keeping a distance of about 10 to 12 feet above the ground. As it moved, bolts of lightning from the bottom of it struck the ground as if it, too, were looking for something. It made a very low sound like the pilot light of a gas stove that was left on. I looked back at my dog and she was totally oblivious to what was happening. She just continued to sniff around, paying neither me nor the object any attention. I almost walked to the curb of my front yard, whereby the object would come pass me and allow me a better view, but I decided against it. It continued down the street, now totally parallel to my dog 25 to 30 feet away in the vacant lot. My dog still never looked up or barked. Suddenly, the object took off.
