Here’s one new daytime photo of a disc-shaped object hovering in the sky above Knoxville in Tennessee. This was taken on 16th June 2016.

Witness report: High altitude White roundish non moving object.
On June 16, 2016 I was taking a break from mowing and sat in a chair in my driveway (which faces approx. 250 degrees SW) when I observer a white round object at about 240 degrees SW and about 70-75 degrees elevation ( I have a compass ap on my cell phone)What caught my attention was that it was not moving at all. At first I thought it was a weather ballon but I did not see any kind of trailing material. There were high thin clouds ( see photos ) out that day but the object was plainly visible I watch for about 15 minutes and it still did not appear to move. I keep a pair of binoculars in my PU truck so I got them and tried to seethe object more clearly. I was not able to steady these binoculars so I went into the house and got another pair (I like to bird watch so I have lots of binoculars) This did not work to my satisfaction (again not able to hold steady enough to improve my visibility) I then got out my Sony a77 digital camera that is fitted with a Sony 2.8/16-50 ssm lens. I also used a Sony 4.5-5.6/75-300 telephoto lens. I took a few pictures with the 2.8 lens and then installed the telephoto lens and a Quantaray 2X teleconverter. I then took more photos but was having difficulty focusing the lens I then tried to focus on trees and other objects closer by to see if I could the maximum distance focus function to work I took 4 or five pictures and did not realize that when I used the zoom in feature on the camera I had a reasonably clear picture of the object hat appeared to be the shape of a blood cell in white and it appeared to have numerous windows around the periphery of the disc. I attempted to repeat the focus adjustment. At this point Around 10:30 am the clouds increased (although not significantly)and I was no longer able to see the object. I thought about getting my tripod to help steady the camera, but after waiting another 15 minutes or so the object was no longer visible even though the clouds had dissipated. So that is what happened. I watch the local news and scanned the newspaper for a couple of days afterwards but saw no mention of anyone seeing this object.

  1. you my friend have captured in a fantastic photo, a real ufo. or even a UAO. which is, unidentified alien object. this is how i saw my last ufo. i also had binocs out and it was about 7:30pm in mid-summer. i was following a high altitude jet lit up by the setting sun when i saw a singular, black object just perfectly still. like you describe here. your picture blows me away.

  2. Some super pressure ballons (their shape DOES NOT CHANGE with altitude), like the one NASA launched past May 17 from New Zealand (see link: nasa.gov/feature/nasa-super-pressure-balloon-begins-globetrotting-journey) do not have any elements hanging below. If you scroll down the mentioned link, you´ll see pictures to compare the normal pressure balloons as compared to the super pressure ones. Cheers. Rubén

  3. I saw the VERY SAME THING. Aug 26. In the Hudson valley of New York near Rhinebeck. Small white spot in the sky while I was looking up to hang an antenna. Almost directly overhead. Looked exactly like the photo without the telephoto shot. Got my image stabilizing Canon binoculars 35 x 50, and saw an oblong object. Not moving, which was what attracted me. About 11AM. It was partly cloudy. I watched for about 10 minutes. It went behind a cloud and was gone. Never saw any movement at all. Nothing on the local media.
