  • not an airplane. They don't hover. I live in Chicago and have seen the exact same thing for the past 3 consecutive nights. When I see it, it is completely stationary, but maybe rotating. It is pretty low, lower than airplanes and very bright. It is visible from midnight until about 4 am. Very big too, bigger than distant stars. Keeping my eye out for it tonight. It's not hard to miss. My
