i live in montreal and that was some electrical storm,we lost power that night

the exact same thing was seen in montana in july of this year, i watched it for an hour or more in the northwest part of state. my nephew saw the same from 400 miles east of me. must of been the same cloud extremely high. crazy! never seen anything like it?
