No it will not change anything; all "evidence" will be disputed and then discarted. And probably rightly so as the bulk is indeed crap.
Governments will continue deny, that's what they do. Maybe ifm ET lands at Wal-Mart and goes shopping it might change things, but I doubt either will happen.
