I know this is a true sighting, the same thing happen to me and my U.S. Navy ship back in 1968 a little different type of UFO but a sighting all the same, my ship was out of Norfolk VA, I also had a sighting when I was a kid it was a low over head fly by of a large glowing UFO like the one seen by Kopf;
