Thirty-two-year-old Meredith Hockaday says she noticed an unusual light in the sky when she was walking with her dog on August 7, 2013 in Lighthouse Point, Fla. She initially thought a plane had exploded so she started taking pictures and video. Later, she spotted an unusual formation of a cloud. At that point, she was thinking of spotting a UFO so, she called her husband. However, her husband could not also explain the site.
Director of the National UFO Reporting Center, Peter Davenport, says that the centre received 14 reports from Florida residents on 7th of August both telephone calls and written.
However, scientists say that the object was just exhaust fumes from a rocket recently launched that had created crystallised clouds.
Delta IV rocket carrying a satellite was launch at the space launch complex of Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on August 7, 2013.
The U.S. National Weather Service in Melbourne, Florida wrote on its Facebook page that the bright clouds observed after the rocket launch were noctilucent clouds that are sometimes formed at a height from 240,000 to 280,000 feet. The ice crystals created by the exhaust of the rocket appeared very bright because the sun was still shining at that height.

Could well be noctilucent clouds, due to the rocket launch or aurora borealis activity with recent Sun action. Or ,of course a UFO. I wasn't there so I don't know.Pretty though.<br />
I for one do not believe anything that comes from NASA. Many of the UFO'S seen throughout the world are our own 95% of the time.
I have spoken with Peter Davenport and it is my opinion he is a fraud and out to discredit actual reports! If you have spoken with him you have an idea what I am talking about! Peter crawl back under your rock!
