This video of a huge bright UFO was filmed in Belfast, the capital and largest city of Northern Ireland. Filmed on 12th December 2014.
Witness report: While getting ready for work I noticed this odd light in the sky, It was pure white and egg shaped, I first thought it was a balloon with a light inside it but after going into the house and back outside some 35 minutes later it was still there, I believe it is intelligent as it was a gusty day earlier and no balloon would stay in its position for that long, it was no lantern and even though it looks like a flair, in Belfast I have yet to see 1 being used.

First of all, what time was it that you saw the object, and in which direction were you facing? If it was just after dark and it was in the western sky I would say it's possible you were looking at Vega, it's a very bright star and it was low in the Western sky after dark.
Correction; Vega would have been in the Northwest just after dark on the 12th of December.
