This older footage from 2009 was just submitted to MUFON. It was taken over Southampton, UK on 8th February.
Witness report: I was filming the sky trying out a new 920nm infrared pass filter with my Sony DCR DVD160e camcorder. Suddenly, this extremely bright light came into shot right above me. It made no noise and appeared to change shape as it flew east. The first sign of the object in the footage seems to show a semi transparent round blob in the sky. Then the sun obviously lights it up which can be seen in the footage. The object was only seen in the camcorder, not with naked eye.

i really want to try this.....they do reckon more UFO's are seen using infra red than normal sights.
As long as it is unidentifed and flying it´s a UFO, my guess though airplane.
I do wish people would learn how to use camcorders before purchasing one, it would benefit the viewer as well as the USER!
