Here’s one new footage of a multiple unidentified flying objects in the sky above San Diego, California. This happened on 18th April 2016.
Witness report: 1 object appeared, then 2, then 3 and 4. Then all the objects vanished at the same time. Then a few minutes later 10 or 11 objects all appeared back in same spot in a strange formation. This is when I started video recording. After a few minutes they fade out 1 by 1 as my camera goes out of focus. The lights were like bright gold/white balls of fire.

Flares. Distress signals and aircraft in the area. As they lose altitude the begin fading and falling away to the sea.
Being a sea voyager with a Flare Gun - this is typical.
Now, who's bothered to look into Sea Rescues for the same date and time?
lanterns!! cmon! look how far out at sea they are! if those were lanterns they would be tiny points of light not these big bright things!!

If they are lanterns, then where were they released from? It could only be from a ship, and you'd see the lights of the ship if that were the case. I don't believe these were lanterns, as there is no ship visible from where they came from.
