There is a possibility that this could be a planet: Venus, Saturn or Jupiter. The slow sinking is typical of the movement of the sky, as the Earth rotates. The apparent black parts of the object make be artefacts caused by the zoom of the lens, and the brightness of the object. A check on planetary positions would be a help.
