I find this strangely familar only because during the daylight at approximately 5:30 (CT) here in North Dallas, I witnessed a UFO that was black in color and was changing shapes, moving from South to North. We see these same shapes at night during campfires all the time at Long Point on Lake Erie, sometimes they change direction in seconds.
I'm a bit surprised that the person speaking is so sure this is not a satellite. I'm an amateur astronomer, and have seen many similar objects over the years. The reason I suspect it is a satellite (or more likely space debris) is because it is moving in a very regular trajectory, and brightening and dimming pretty regularly, too, indicative in many instances of a nose cone tumbling
I have trouble believing any of these sightings filmed using night vision equipment. This light could be anything!
