"The government" if you mean the White House don't know more than any of us.<br />But som parts of the military may know more and will not tell the president or any other leader selected by the people.
It's useless to petition the government to disclose information on alien life because they will always deny it. People have too much to worry about today with knowing that aliens are surrounding us. What we need are more credible people coming forward so as to convince people, on an individual level, that we are not alone.
