1565 voters and no comments? Well, lets say this. There are a few miles of boooks in the libraries upon the genealogy of religion. Interesting is Feuerbach's hypothesis that the secret of theology lies antrolopology. In short: when man lived and was lived by the forces of nature, the gods were natures forces (remember a US song: the rain is Tess, the fire is Joe and the call the wind Uriah).

religions may have a relation if you considers gods as extra-terrestrial people bringing civilisation knowledges and support. in exchange of... maybe wonders of earth. what do we knox about earth ? quite nothing except lasts centuries and what historians (like plato) wanted us to know
