UFO Expert Believes That Questions About Extra-Terrestrial Life Could Be Answered by 2024

A renowned expert in the field of UFOs thinks that mankind could finally make the first contact with aliens within the next 12 years with the help of the largest radio telescope in the world.

The Daily Express reported that the question on the existence of extra-terrestrial life could be answered by 2024 with the development of 1.3 billion pounds radio telescope.

According to Nick Pope, former UK ministry of defence UFO Project leader, the development of the Square Kilometer Array (SKA) telescope will open new and exciting possibilities.

The year 2024 is the time when the SKA is expected to be fully operational, according to Pope, who studied UFO sightings at the MoD for 21 years.

The SKA telescope is set to start in 2016. It will be the largest radio telescope in the world and will answer some questions about our universe.

The supersized telescope is made of thousands of wave receptors covering 4,921 square km of the Earth’s surface in the Australian outback. Scientists have claimed that it will be 50 times more sensitive and 10,000 times faster than any other available telescopes.

SKA telescope is expected to give alternative views of the universe. SKA spokesman said that the telescope will give insight to astronomers on the role of cosmic magnetism, the formation and evolution of the first stars and galaxies after the Big Bang, the nature of gravity, and life beyond.

The telescope will be capable to find a civilization within 100 light years. According to the recent research, almost 10 per cent of the population has seen a UFO, equivalent to over 6 million people just in the U.K.

Pope said that when he was investigating UFOs, he investigated 2-300 reports every year and 10 percent is an absolutely astonishing figure. The UFO expert speculated that the extra-terrestrial life might make contact by landing on the White House lawn.
