Some fancy dancy camera he's got, to get such great close ups. He doesn't sound too excited either.
looks like a plane with sun glinting off its wings. the "separation" you mention doesn't seem to be one at all, only the plane shifting around in the air with sunlight hitting the wings at certain moments. your close-ups are great and that's what it looks like to this viewer.

I think he is trying in his mind to identify the object in some earthly way, he says it can be some sort of drone.
