Early UFO Sightings As the World Celebrates the 66th Anniversary of Roswell UFO Incident

UFO enthusiasts and followers around the world celebrated the 66th anniversary of the popular Roswell UFO incident on July 7, 2013.

The Claim By Kenneth Arnold

Kenneth Arnold, a pilot from Idaho, claimed that he spotted nine flying saucers close to Mount Rainer, Washington on the same year with Roswell incident. The pilot said that the saucers flew at very fast speeds. The sighting started the so-called “Modern UFO era.”

Westall High School Mass Encounter

More than 200 witnesses (composed of students and teachers) from two Melbourne schools in Australia came forward saying just one thing, a flying saucer descended and ascended over a local suburb. While no pictures were taken to back-up their claims, the witnesses still continue organising reunions regularly.

Levelland Sightings

Several motorists reported engine problems when they encountered a glowing egg-shaped object while driving near Levelland, Texas on November 2, 1957. They added that their vehicles returned to normal when the object flew past them. An Air Force sergeant was sent to the area to investigate the report and concluded that the auto failures had been due to a severe electrical storm after learning that there had been thunderstorms on that day.
