One of the many initiatives that keep the wheels of MUFON turning is the annual Investigator Boot Camp held in Mesa, Arizona. In this event, UFO researchers from around the globe undergo intensive, hands-on training for investigating reported extraterrestrial visitations. The training encompasses an array of techniques, from photo and video analysis, understanding astronomical charts, to interpreting radar returns.

I have seen things that make me believe MUFON has some really solid people who are objective and really want to learn the truth about the unusual things seen in our skies. I have also seen some things that make me believe that the administrative end of MUFON is very interested in liberating cash from gullible people. Caveat Emptor.
