This was indeed one of the first and most credible encounters with ETs that has been checked out by physical scientists and social scientists, both of whom interviewed the children at length. Most of the time, imho, a child can be counted on to be more truthful and forthright, if not subjected to outside influences, than most adults would be. With so many of the children testifying to the same type events, there's little room for manufactured stories.
