It definitely looks like a balloon, it even shows the string attached.

In the first part of the video where it looked like a bright star in the day time. I seen the exact same thing here in Yorkville Illinois about a week ago. Midday and motionless, just like a star. It faded out after a few minutes without moving. During the end of this video we see what is obviously balloons tied together.
Just saw the UFO over Long Island. I am a Long Islander, now living in the Midwest. I am curious as to where on the Island this was filmed. I lived in E. Moriches/Eastport and saw may unexplainable things and I am a scientist. Can you tell me where this was filmed?
It seems to me, that the small Sports-Aircraft has dropped a Parachute-Jumper?
Did anyone see the triangle of lights on the LIE last night at about 6:45 pm on September 23, 2012, between exit 63 and 62. My gf and eye were driving westbound the Triangle of lights was on the east bound side pretty large, moved slow, made no noise that i could hear. Defiantly not a plane. we took a video, but we took it a little late, and with an Iphone, it didn't come out good at all.
