Faster than anybody’s eye could follow. This is a literal description best described to a UFO that was accidentally caught on photograph over the Netherlands’ Muiderslot Castle, the 12 medieval castle near Amsterdam built in 1285.

Avid photographer Corinne Federer and her mother visited the historical castle on May 25. Federer, who is a manager in one of the chains of Adidas in Amsterdam, shot High Dynamic Range (HDR) photos of the medieval structure.

The 43-year old photographer explained that one need at least 3 exposures to create HDR images and she managed to shot five for this one. With HDR images she can capture full spectrum of light which the camera is not capable.

Federer noticed in one of the five images strange object when she reviewed them. She described it similar to a missile but with multiple fins facing in similar direction. Federer said that it was her first time to shoot a UFO in her images for many years.

She was blown away after finding out the possible speed of the object. At the shutter speed, she looked at the image information. She discovered that the object was blurred at 1/250th of a second. So, she concluded that the object was moving really fast.

After some adjustments to the original images, she noticed another object in another photo. The first object she noticed was on the right side of the photo and the other one was on the left side. This object could be the same object in one of the photos. The photos were shot within the five-image sequence.

Former FBI special agent Ben Hansen analysed the photographs and found no indication of manipulation on them. Bensen is now the lead host of “Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files” of Syfy Channel.

18th June 2013 Update:

Photos Of A UFO Found To Be Authentic

Definitely no sign that it is manipulated. This is the statement of former FBI special agent Ben Hansen, who is now the lead host of Syfy’s “Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files,” referring to the photos that show a UFO flying over a medieval castle taken by a woman in the Netherlands.

Corinne Federer accidentally captured the UFO while taking photographs of the medieval Muiderslot Castle near Amsterdam together with her mother on 25th of May 2013.

Hansen says that he did not find any manipulation of the photos with post editing software after reviewing the raw files. The woman witness considered the experience as kind of creepy because she heard no sound when the strange object passed by.

She was using high dynamic range (HDR) feature of her camera when she accidentally captured the UFO. HDR involves taking at least 3 images and during that time, she managed to make 5 consecutive shots.

Federer is currently working as Adidas supply chain manager in Amsterdam. She did not notice the UFO while taking HDR photos and was shocked to find it after reviewing her shots.

  1. resembles the german v2 rockets that were used during world war 2 maybe new type of dutch military craft not declared by official sources ? only me suggesting might be a type of alien craft more rocket like though

  2. WHAT is wrong with this picture?! the castle is all diagonal while the ground itself isn't! and the manicured bushes and flags look photoshopped. i can't therefore say what that object in the sky is or isn't.

  3. HDR imaging is amazing! is your work posted anywhere? After enlarging and studying these images the 'fins' may not be fins at all but turbulence swirling to the front on top, to the back on the bottom, the vortexes revolving clockwise on the trailing edge of a disk shaped object moving at supersonic speeds…

  4. I'll have to agree with Janet. The castle looks crooked! Also ,yes I have seen photo's of castles and grounds in England, the grounds are very crisp. But this photo doesn't look Natural…

  5. This is really weird , because in around the 1960s when I was a child, I lived in Northumberland, England, and going home from school one day (quite remote area) I saw a silent missile with fins and it was silver. It flew slowly overhead rather low above the gully I was taking a short cut through. My parents just laughed and said I'd seen a balloon or cloud. So I never told anyone else,

  6. Well what blows my my is the fact this pic is getting all of the attention and for what?…In the last few months I have researched hundreds of legit videos of much more impressive craft of all forms and I am sure you have to. So why is it this little rocket is catching all the buzz when we have been shown massive ufos the size of earth or bigger around the sun and fleets of ufos showing up all

    • i guess each pic generates it's own forms of attention, some more than others. this one obviously is getting alot of attention but i only see 8 comments. i saw one the other day with 137 comments!
