Britain’s Triangular Aircraft: Advanced or E.T. Technology?

July 25, 2011 – While reports of triangularly shaped UFOs have been surfacing over Britain in the past two decades. The reports seem to have a fair amount of consistency in description. Many times the lights are seen in a triangular pattern, usually at the corners of the triangle, are white or green. A majority of the reports claim the aircraft to be silent. One theory to explain this phenomenon claims that these UFOs are actually advanced technology being created for defense, and it came about in part because the reports have only been coming to light recently. This supports the idea that this is relatively new technology that is being tested.
However, these reports have been made even before that two decade mark. The reason they are coming to light now is that they have been declassified by the Royal Air Force and the Air Ministry. Many of the reports seem to have been made from Staffordshire (especially in the 80’s) and Derbyshire (in the 90’s), they have been seen all over British airspace. In fact, in the year of 1988, it was brought up in parliament because of the multitude of sightings over Staffordshire.
The earliest of the recently declassified reports was made in 1952 during a NATO project called Mainbrace. Aside from the triangular UFOs, there were also circular UFOs seen by military personnel and members of the Royal Air Force. The first two reports were made the day after project Mainbrace began. Both were triangular aircraft seen from the same boat in the water near Ireland. The first claimed sight of a UFO with blue and green lights, flying at an estimated 1,500 miles over the water. The second sighted another triangle, this time with white lights. Edward J Ruppelt, who once headed project Blue Book, said it was these sightings that got the British government interested in UFOs.
Another sighting, reported in 1962 (though made in 1956, the year that UFO investigations were classified as secret in Britain)was made by Mr. W. Arnold in the form of a letter to the Air Ministry. In it he described the sighting of an aircraft who’s shape was somewhere between that of a triangle and that of a shoe’s heel. Mr. Arnold also included a drawing of the ship. An internal memorandum at the Air Ministry was sent out after receiving Mr. Arnold’s letter, saying it was a prototype Vulcan Ship.
