I also thought it might be the top of a sky-scraper. I live in San Francisco and on a day with low clouds and fog, the only thing getting sun is the top of these tall buildings that crack a low cloud cover. It would account for the "boxy" shape with straight lines. The light could be fixed atop the building.
perhaps this is what is meant by "London fog" and it really is a building. it just seems that the jet is up really high, and that thing way out there seems to be moving upwards as the plane flies away from it. an optical illusion?
Photographs are just useless anymore !! It is impossible to EVER believe in them thanks to bunghole fakers……. So… you would think that pretty much ALL cameras and camera phones today HAVE video capapbility. Unless Grandpa insists on still using Polaroid with disposable flash bulbs….. you should NEVER have an excuse to NOT capture UFO's on VIDEO. thnk u.
To me it looks like a bar with a beach umbrella to the right, if you look close you can even see the bartender leaning on the bar facing you with his arms resting on the bar, there is distortion of the surrounding area too, I could swear I see some letters above the bar too, lol
ciao joe, well I agree wt u, just if u giv a better look the barteder is making a mojito instead, and hes clearly from antigua, then on the right a guy in short brown pants is turning on another signal light for airplanes since two arnt enough..
to anyone berating this as a fake or a building……canary wharf………thin on..
eye surgery is cheaper now go and get the peepers sorted.
this is a cracker, if you cant see it for what it is, joke is on you.
I am a commercial pilot based at LHR with a class 1 medical with over 700 landings into LHR.
I’m afraid you’ve been duped into thinking this is an alien spacecraft.
It’s just one of London’s skyscrapers poking its head out of the London fog . It’s a common sight when on finals approaching LHR from the East.
