UFO Spotted and Caused Diverted Air traffic in Chongqing, China – August 2011

August 17, 2011 – Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) was seen over the runway at Jiangbie International Airport in Chongqing, China and was responsible for diverted air traffic. Chongqing media reports that airport authorities restricted planes from landing for about an hour from around 12:30pm before the alert was lifted after the UFO went out from the area.

There is no explanation yet coming from Chongqing government regarding the incident. The news about the UFO in the airport quickly reached and discussed at Chinese social networking websites making much online excitement.

The incident on UFO is not the first time in Chongqing wherein in 2010, the same UFO sighting happened at Xiaoshan Airport in Zhejiang’s provincial capital of Hangzhou. The phenomenon made big news both by UFO community and mainstream media.
