On August 4, 2013, a fast moving brightly lit circular UFO was videotaped travelling silently across the night sky above Haskovo, Bulgaria.
The footage was posted to YouTube by certain “nedialko kostadinov.” It shows strange UFO moving behind a number of wires and structures. It further shows the strange object changes colours and intensity. In the early part, the video shows an apparent aircraft behind the UFO. Many commenters of the video are claiming to have spotted similar object within 24 hours of the posting of the footage.
Even Ben Hansen, who is known as sceptics and lead investigator of the “Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files” of the Syfy Channel, surprisingly likes the video. He believes that the video is not a hoax. He adds that the videographer has expertise in editing and spent a lot of time if the video is manipulated. So, he is not saying that the video can’t be a hoax but a hoaxer should overcome a range of technical challenges to hoax such video.
Given that the video is hoaxed, Hansen points out that a hoaxer needs to make the object pass behind wires and structures, keeps the size of the object correct when the camera zooms in and out, needs to degrade the image of the object properly when zooming in, and needs to add a realistic effects such as image wobbling.
The YouTube poster has more than 80 UFO videos on his page but Hansen observes that these videos are undramatic and there is no direct attempt to market them or convince the viewers that they are viewing alien craft. Hansen believes that the poster simply wants to document his sightings hoping to find answers from someone rather than wants to create a hoax considering the amount of time needed as well as effort involved to fake so many videos.
