UFOs caught by Mars Curiosity? August 2012

August 2012 - Four objects caught by Curiosity, a Mars rover, in Gale Crater.

    2. NASA claims this is dust particles on the lens. They use this excuse and these rovers have the ability to clean their lenses when dirty I just wonder why it didn't clean its lens before taking the " UFO " shot. I'm sure that it scans its lens for dirt as part of its protocols prior to any shots being taken. NASA uses this excuse far to often with all their observational craft. Seems to me with such an occurrence(system error) NASA would re-evaluate and correct this system before launching more billion dollar craft wouldn't you think? Why haven't they done this?(Because this system isn't faulty its just an excuse)

  4. Moons and or stars? Anything else strange that shows up NASA will probably say are camera anomalies,or tricks of light..
    Check out on Youtube UFOTV:"What Is NASA Hiding? - Secret Space".Also check out "UFO The Secret history".

    I think this rover mission will verify microscopic life is capable of living or does exists on Mars now.50% of our scientists will not except the findings.It will take a manned mission to satisfy the the majority.Perhaps this mission`s findings will jump start real interest in exploring Mars,maybe not.

  6. This video needs to be validated and I've been unsuccessful up to this pnt to find it oon NASA's site. Has anyone else seen this from official sources?

    1. goto this URL http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/msl/multimedia/raw/?s=3&camera=MAST%5FLEFT Its NASA'S Curiosity web site here you will see the list of photo's taken on 8/9 (the date of the photo in question above)goto image 5:11:25 and blow it up about 500% then open each succeeding photo and do the same. Compare them next to each other or stack them and see what you find. Noticing how the scene changes in each image but the anomaly remains the same, in the same position in each of the photos. Hope this helps!!

  10. Hi there!

    I noticed those too the other day while browsing mars pictures. At first I thought it was very cool and interesting BUT I looked at some more pictures with different angles. The "ufos" are visible in other photos aswell. I even opend two different pictures in my favourite editing program and put them on top of each other. I reduced the opacity of the top layer image and could see the spots were the same in the same places on both images. So in my opinion it is dust or dirt on the camera lens. You might try it and see for yourself. Of course there is a possibility that they discovered them in one picture and had to copy them over to the others too just so people will get to the same conclusion as I have.
    You can never be sure.. but they are present at the exact same spots on other photos too!

  12. Dust on optics or perhaps digital aberrations caused by the compression and transferal of Data. Also the very high UV radiation or solar flares again effecting the transferal of data. Certainly nothing to get excited about in my humble opinion.

      seriously though, I find these to be compelling/perplexing. Logic dictates it to likely be "dust anomaly" on lens. ..however they are very similar to pics I have taken this year (remote northern rockies in Canada) when photographing rainbows (the anomoly were not visible to naked eye) As well I have photos FROM NASA viking landing (circa 1977) which are original computer printout..one of which has similar "lens anomoly" hmmm.

  13. Well, they can't get away with the usual "weather balloons, "birds" or "American Airlines flight 3312" with these, and there are too many of them to be Venus. They HAVE to be screening the pictures they release as usual, and these are fairly obvious. can't wait for the creative lens dust or whatever else they choose to sign off on, because these look well defined and solid.

  14. Okay, so far, 19 people clicked that these objects are not alien. So what the hell is floating in the sky outside of the red planet? Oh yeah, I know now...some little kids are just throwing large rocks and the camera picked it up. Thanks a lot LUS for adding that unnecessary feature which undermines many of the sightings on this website. Are you sure you guys aren't the Govt in disguise?

  17. On the far left as the camera moves down there appears to be more 'objects' but they do not stay in view long enough. Having said that the four objects certainly do appear to be structured and three dimensional.
    Not enough information to support the view that they are external and unrelated to Curiosity however.

  24. If you look at the very top of the last image there is another one. Just a thought, could it be microscopic specs of water/condensation on the rovers lense ? If so, that itself would be cool. I do believe if there is any truth about the 2012 alien contact theory then I think this whole rover on mars mission will be an interductory step for the public, only question is was it all staged and has been planned years ago.

  27. Also these objects are in a straight line horizontally, if they are dust I would think they would be randomly scattered on the lens. Four specks of dust all in a row..whats the odds of that.

After investigating this carefully by visiting the NASA Curiosity web site I found the series of photo's taken by Curiosity's Left Mast Camera on 8/9/2012 and after viewing each photo in succession starting with photo (time stamped) 8/9/2012 5:11:25 these "UFO"objects appear in the same place on each photo. Keep in mind this camera rotates 360 degrees as it snaps photos so each photo is of a different scene. If you overlap these photos you will notice the anomalies are in the exact same place on each different shot. Therefore it must be dust/dirt on the lens.     In addition,this photo/video has been enhanced by the originator/the You Tube up loader adding the white. He even admits he has enhanced this video on YouTube site. ( Its why it looks like lights) On the original color photo from NASA they are black spots honestly they look like dirt. I must admit initially seeing this video I was excited and thought this was a case breaker. Seeing what appeared to be solid (dark objects w/ white lights) I know exactly how everyone feels but once I saw the originals and did some analysis as I mentioned earlier I had to concede that its just dust/dirt on the lens. I say this not because its only dark spots. heck why can't UFOs look like dust or dirt but because its repeated in the same places on each succeeding photo. I still think the rover will catch something and probably already has but the likely hood of it getting past NASA's watch dogs and being posted on their sight for us to find is slim. Since the photo's aren't real time, they'll just air brush it out or alter it some how before posting. They very well may have doctored the photos on their site in this case by duplicating the anomalies on each succeeding photo so if investigated closely we would believe their explanation that it was "dust on the lens". Its easier to add something to a group of photo's and call it dust on the lens than to try to cover something up or delete anything on one (someone could find the smudge marks). All part of the disinformation game.

  30. The Government will cover everything up including hours till the end of days. Its all show , nothing but drama. who knows whats out there. One big ass sky. I will believe the day when i walk on my back porch and i see it with my own two eyes. Thats real talk. Enjoy the drama show because its only showbiz. In the mean time, I'll just sit back and watch all the fools buy into this dramaqueen fantasy.HaHaHA!
